Video Tutorial – Animated Banners with SwishMax

In this week’s video tutorial, we take a quick look at basic banner production using SwishMax, a Flash production suite that makes some of the more mundane tasks in Flash a lot easier. It’s also got some extremely cool features and effect presets that can speed up simple movie production.
I had a few requests for how to make a simple animated text banner for sites using this program, so here it is. There’s a trial version available online if you don’t have the program so feel free to download it, install it and see if you can follow along with the movie. Just excuse my muffled voice in places – it’s hard to make a commentary track when you’ve just had a tooth out!
As per usual, you can download the video here. It’s a zipped file so you’ll need to unzip it first before you can watch it.
